How Oasis Drug Mart handles the information you share through this website.
Oasis Drug Mart (2613599 Ontario Inc.) respects your privacy. As a pharmacy, we are a health information custodian under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), and we handle your information accordingly.
What we collect through this website
When you use our request forms, we collect your name, phone number and the details you choose to enter, such as prescription numbers, your current pharmacy, or the service and time you'd like to book. We ask you not to enter health card numbers or symptoms on the website; we collect those privately when we contact you.
Why we collect it
Only to respond to your request: to fill or transfer prescriptions, book appointments, and contact you about them.
How we protect it
This website does not store your requests. When you send one, your phone opens WhatsApp or your text messages with the request filled in, and it goes directly to the pharmacy's phone. The website itself is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit access to staff who need it to serve you, and we keep records only as long as required by law and professional standards.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use advertising trackers on this website.
- We don't share your information except as needed to provide your care, as permitted or required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal health information we hold about you, or ask questions about how we handle it. Contact our privacy contact, the pharmacy's Designated Manager, at info@oasisdrugmart.com or 647-351-4400. You may also contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
